Christmas Pageant, Luncheon, & Caroling, Sunday, Dec. 20th: It is with great anticipation that we Christians await the birth of our Lord. In the church we are preparing our hearts every Sunday and the days in between. Our shut-ins, however, don’t have the ability to come to church and feel the excitement. Sunday, December 20th has been designated as the day that we bring some of our joy and anticipation to our shut-ins. They don’t care if you are a great singer or not. They don’t care how old or young you are. They would just love to see your smiling face wishing them Christmas greetings and God’s blessing. The children’s pageant is scheduled for that day during the 10:30 service.. At 12:00 noon we will be sharing a light lunch and then we will head out to sing to our shut-ins. Please consider coming. The shut-ins will love it and so will you! Honduras Mission Trip, Jan. 6 - 13, 2010: We leave for Honduras on January 6th and return on January 13th. The last 2 times we went to Honduras there was bad weather here, so please pray for good weather for getting to and from the airport. We have a team of nine. Keep us all in your prayers: Chuck Cruikshank, Lois Cruikshank, Fr. John Cruikshank, Irene Evans (Debra's Mom), Jeff Minshall, Carene Rhodes, Debra Rhodes, Brian Taylor and Judith Taylor. We will be conducting a vacation bible school for up to 100 children and doing a small construction project. We will hand out prayer requests before we leave so our home team can be backing us up.
